Our Story

Welcome to Built Together in 3D — thanks for stopping by!

This entire project started with a spark from our eight-year-old son. For months, he talked about wanting a 3D printer, and our initial reaction was to completely dismiss the idea (guilty!). But anyone who knows him will understand just how persistent and determined he can be when he’s passionate about something.

Once we sat down, listened, and did a bit of research, we realised his ideas were actually really good. So now, we’re learning the ropes, hoping to “build together” on his ideas and earn him a bit of pocket money along the way!
